Travel Medicine in a Changing Climate

Washington DC, United States of America
5-9 June 2019

Submission Form

The very successful Barcelona conference is just behind us and we are now starting to plan for the CISTM16 in June 2019.
Through 15 March 2018 we are inviting ISTM members to submit proposals for sessions. These topics should reflect the latest advances in clinical science and should emphasize areas that have had significant developments since the CISTM15. The Scientific Program Committee has selected the CISTM16 theme to be: "Travel Medicine in a Changing Climate." While it is our hope to receive proposals relating to this theme, it isn't required. Please consider and submit all of your creative ideas and program suggestions. Only proposals submitted on the Program Proposal Form by email to during the solicitation period will be considered.
Although state-of-the-art scientific and clinical symposia as well as original research are the core of the CISTMs, the educational activities have proven very popular over the years.  The online form will also accommodate proposals for topics and speakers for workshops, debates, and interactive sessions.

Please note that the CISTM16 Scientific Program Committee (SPC) frequently finds it necessary to combine similar proposed topics by picking and choosing individual talks from different submissions. The SPC may also identify different speakers for a particular talk as the full scope of submissions is reviewed. This allows more comprehensive coverage of topics, less duplication between sessions, and more balanced demographic representation. There is no need to invite speakers in advance since the final composition of proposed sessions may be substantially different from the original proposals. The Scientific Program Committee will contact invited speakers for a particular topic proposal.

Thank you for your time and contributions to the CISTM16 and the worldwide travel medicine community.
Kind regards,
