Eligibility
Criteria:
Any traveler, immigrant, or refugee, who has crossed
international borders in the previous 1 year and where in the
best clinical judgment of the GeoSentinel Network Member, the
current illness was acquired as a function of that travel.

Network Members should contact
GeoSentinel with information on any traveler they
see or have reasonable knowledge of, presenting with:

unusual diagnosis, unusual clinical manifestation of a usual
diagnosis, or unusual geographic origin the Network Member
thinks of interest to GeoSentinel

Falciparum malaria resistant to quinine, mefloquine, or atovaquone/proguanil
|

P.
vivax, P. ovale, or P. malariae resistant to chloroquine
|
 |
Enteric
or other bacterial infection with unusual or rarely reported
antibiotic resistance

any of the following diagnoses:
