Northern European Conference on Travel Medicine, Helsinki, Finland, 21-24 May, 2008

The 2nd Northern European Conference on Travel Medicine (NECTM) is intended for health care professionals and others interested in travel and migration medicine. The program includes "hot" topics in travel health, "all time favorites", and special themes such as Arctic medicine and traveler’s health issues in the Baltic countries and in Russia. There will also be presentations about Finnish tradition in architecture, music and dance, and about the unique Finnish obsession for sauna. (In fact, a sauna evening is scheduled as part of the program, likely a first at an International Travel Medicine meeting.)
