Pre-Conference Workshops
Q: There are six pre-conference workshops that will run at the same time on Sunday, May 11. If I pay for one, can I also attend another, even for a short period of time?
A: Each workshop has a registration fee of $50 and that fee is for attendance to that workshop only. When you register for CISTM19, you can also register for a pre-conference workshop.
Q: What if I’ve already registered for CISTM19 and I want to add a pre-conference workshop to my schedule?
A: You can register for a pre-conference workshop through a separate registration process.
Visas / Travel to the U.S.
Q: How do I obtain an invitation letter or a visa for CISTM19?
A: If you require an invitation letter for your visa interview/appointment, you can download it directly here.
Q: Can ISTM help me get a visa to attend CISTM19?
A: Unfortunately, ISTM is unable to help attendees secure a visa. All requests must be directed to the U.S. Department of State.
Q: What is the status of my visa for CISTM19?
A: Please contact your local U.S. embassy or the U.S. Department of State for updates on your application status.
Financial Support
Q: Does ISTM offer funding support to attend CISTM19?
A: Travel awards for CISTM19 have already been assigned. Unfortunately, ISTM does not offer additional scholarships or financial assistance for conference attendance.
Live Streaming and Event Recordings
Q: Will CISTM19 be live-streamed?
A: CISTM19 will not be live streamed. Recordings will be available following the event.
Q: Will recordings be available for purchase?
A: Recordings of all sessions will be available after the conference. Recording access is included in the registration fee for all attendees.
For those not attending in person, recordings will be available for purchase.
Continuing Education Credits
Q: What professional education credits will be offered at CISTM19?
A: Credits will be offered for physicians and physician assistants through Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). For pharmacists, Continuing Education (CE) credits are offered through the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and for nurses, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accredits the event.
Q: How do I register for CME or CE?
A. When registering for CISTM19, select your specific accreditation during the conference registration process. If you have already registered for CISTM19, but didn’t include CME or CE, you can register to receive credit using this link.
Q: How many CME credits (for physicians and physician assistants) will be offered?
A: The conference is accredited for 23.75 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians and physician assistants.
Q: What is the fee to apply for CME?
A: For physicians and physician assistants, the CME fee is $55.
Q. What other professional Continuing Education (CE) credits will be offered and what is the fee?
A: For pharmacists, 23.75 hours will be offered. The CE fee is $55. For nurses, 23.75 hours will be offered. The Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) credit fee is $35.
Cancellation / Refund
Q: If I have to cancel my registration, what do I do?
A: Email [email protected] to notify us. Cancellations received on or before 31 January 2025 will be refunded via the original form of payment minus a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations received on or after 1 February 2025 will not be refunded.
