Best Orals and Posters
This year the CISTM16 delegates will be able to vote for their favorite poster – attendees can vote for their favorites by opening the CISTM16 app, navigating to the “Poster Voting” section, selecting the poster number/title, and rating between one and five stars. The winning poster presenters will be invited to participate in the Poster Pitch session and will receive complimentary full registration to CISTM17 in 2021!
Eco-Friendly Travel Award
Attendance and CE Certificates – these will not be handed out on-site, rather emailed to you after the CISTM.
Delegate Registration Packets – as we are working towards a paper-less conference, no program materials will be distributed. There will be no delegate satchel. What you will receive at registration is a re-useable, stainless steel cup for your use onsite for water, coffee, tea, etc.
Evaluation Forms – there will be no forms for you to complete onsite. We will ask that you complete the CISTM evaluation either through the app, or online through a link we will email to you.
Name Badges – the name badges will not have covers or ribbons. We are providing name badges printed on recycled paper and the lanyards will be made of bamboo.
Onsite Signage – there will be no paper onsite signage. Signage will either be on canvas, cloth or recycled clings.
Posters – paper posters have been prohibited. We have asked all poster presenters to bring their posters printed on cloth. Cloth posters left at the CISTM after the poster session will be donated.
Program and Program Book – there will be no onsite paper programs – please be sure to download the app that contains all of the information that in the past would be handed out, in addition to offering even more functionality. The materials are also available on the ISTM website at www.ISTM.org/CISTM16.
Recycling Bins – the venue will have recycling bins throughout for you to use should you have anything that needs to be discarded. We aim to reduce the carbon footprint.
Vegetarian Day – Friday, 7 June is designated as the CISTM Vegetarian Day. All official CISTM events that serve food will only serve vegetarian options.
