Jay Keystone Award for Education
Purpose
The Jay Keystone Award for Education is an award given to a member in good standing of ISTM, who is a Fellow or Distinguished Fellow and who demonstrates exceptional qualities as an educator in the field of travel medicine.
Qualifications
Documented educational exceptionalism in two or more of the below educational areas. More importance on impact on practice rather than volume of output.
- Lectures
- Oral presentations at meetings
- Poster presentations at meetings
- Peer reviewed publications
- Brochures
- Webinars
- New curriculum
- Guidelines
- Mentoring
- Awards for education
- Any other aspect of education deemed appropriate
Deadline to Apply
The deadline for this year’s applications has passed and will reopen in 2024.
Announcement
The Jay Keystone Award for Education will become effective at the next biennial CISTM and will be announced at the membership assembly.
