As we come to the close of 2025, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the global travel medicine community for your continued support of ISTM and for the essential work you do to protect travelers and the communities they move between. Your commitment, expertise and collaboration are what make ISTM a strong and trusted professional home for travel medicine worldwide.
As we look back on the year, we are grateful for what we accomplished together:
- A successful CISTM19, bringing the global travel medicine community together for scientific exchange, collaboration and connection
- Delivery of the Travel Medicine Review & Update Course (TMRUC), supporting professional development and preparation across the ISTM Body of Knowledge
- Continued delivery of high-quality education through webinars, podcasts and other learning opportunities
- Ongoing advancement of research and evidence-based practice through the Journal of Travel Medicine and collaborative initiatives
- Strong engagement across professional and interest groups, committees, and global partnerships
- Enhanced communication and connection through expanded digital and member-focused resources
- Welcoming our Executive Director, strengthening operational leadership and organizational capacity
- Progress toward strengthening ISTM’s long-term sustainability and ability to serve the field well into the future
