Pre-Travel Health and Immunization Essentials for Special Populations [WEBINAR]

Not every traveler fits the standard pre-travel consult. This webinar from ISTM’s Pharmacists Professional Group covers three groups whose risks call for a tailored approach.

Raana Sidky will explain what makes immunocompromised travelers vulnerable and how to reduce their risk of infectious disease while abroad. Sheila Seed will look at the age-related factors that raise health risks for older adult travelers. Jeff Goad will cover the health risks unique to college students studying abroad and the evidence-based pre-travel interventions that address them. PPG Chair Sherilyn Houle will moderate, and the session will close with a live Q&A with all three speakers.
