ASTMH Clinical Pre-Meeting Course: Challenges in the Treatment of Tropical Diseases

This year, the ASTMH (American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene) annual meeting will take place in Toronto. Miguel Cabada, MD, MSc, will be co-chairing a pre-meeting course entitled “Challenges in the Treatment of Tropical Diseases: Emerging Resistance and Difficult-to-Manage Infections.”

The course will bring together global experts to address the growing challenges of treating tropical diseases in the era of emerging antimicrobial resistance and complex infections. Participants will have the opportunity to update their knowledge and acquire practical approaches to manage difficult cases, optimize treatment strategies, and improve clinical outcomes.
