International Attendees
- Visa exemption eligibility and permitted length of stay
- Visa on arrival availability
- Required documentation and processing timelines
- Passport validity requirements
Because visa policies may change, attendees are encouraged to check requirements early and again closer to their travel dates.
Visas
Many nationalities carrying a tourist passport and in possession of an onward or return airline ticket do not require a visa to enter Thailand. The passport must have at least six months’ validity remaining to be allowed entry. All visitors must fill out a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) upon arrival. You can register for the TDAC up to 3 days before arrival and complete the TDAC on the day of your arrival. Upon entry, Thai immigration officials will place an immigration stamp in the passport permitting a 30-day stay in Thailand if arriving by air or land. View more information on visas.
Visa Letter of Invitation
For many international attendees, an official letter of invitation may assist with the visa application process. ISTM is pleased to support registered participants by providing a conference invitation letter upon request.
To request a Visa Letter of Invitation, attendees must:
- Be registered for CISTM20, and
- Submit a Visa Letter of Invitation request form, which will require you to provide:
- Full name and professional designation(s)
- Email address
- Full mailing address
Important Notes
- The letter of invitation confirms conference participation only and does not create any financial obligation for ISTM. All travel-related expenses remain the responsibility of the attendee.
